Pba Bhangra Academy, made the switch from in-person classes to virtual classes. Although challenging at first, we got a lot of support from people who signed up to do classes virtually. We appreciate and thank everyone who is still a part of the PBA Bhangra family.

PBA Bhangra Academy did their 5th “Sabhyacharak Mela” at Bordentown High School. NJ. It was an incredible experience for all of us to be able to have our fifth Mela. This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the Sponsors, Volunteers and the Community! With God’s Grace, our 5th Mela could not have been better!

PBA Bhangra Academy has gotten an amazing opportunity to perform during HALFTIME for the New Jersey Devils professional Ice Hockey game on Sikh Heritage Night at the Prudential Center, Newark in front of thousands of audience members. It was a pleasure sharing our culture and folk heritage with other people.

Two of PBA Bhangra Academy's groups went to compete at the N.I.C.E dance competition at Thomas Harrington School, Mt. Laurel, NJ. BOTH of the Junior and Senior groups won FIRST place in the folk dance category. We have had the opportunity to perform on this platform many times, and each time our groups exceed my expectations. Extremely proud of all the hard work all the students put in!

Pba Bhangra Academy’s Senior Group had the opportunity to perform at the Burlington County Freeholder Reorganization Meeting at Rowan College, Burlington, NJ. It was a great honor to be recognized for something we care so deeply about. Thank you to everyone who came and expressed appreciation for what we do!

It was a proud moment for Pba Bhangra Academy during our Sabhyacharak Mela when I was honored by Balvir Singh freeholder on behalf of the Board of Chosen Freeholder of the County of Burlington. They recognized PBA Bhangra Academy and myself for the positive contribution to the Cultural Vibrancy of Burlington County. It was a great accomplishment for our academy to be recognized for something like this.

Two of PBA Bhangra Academy groups went to compete at the "Best of The Best N.I.C.E Dance Competition" at Thomas Harrington Middle School, Mt. Laurel, NJ. Both of the Junior & Senior groups won First place in Folk Dance Category and the Junior group won "Overall Best" trophy also.
